Whales
A visit to the Whale Hall is a journey to wonderland… You’ll feel yourself sinking in a smoothening twilight, with gigantic skeletons floating above your head.
You learn about a vast group of mammals. A gargantuan sperm whale plunges next to slender dolphins and good-tempered dugongs. They are observed by walruses and harp seals on the shores. A noteworthy skeleton is that of a pygmy right whale. It is an extremely rare animal, and there are no more than six specimens on show in museums around the world.
